English Medical Terminology (MD1013) 2 ECTS

When medical terms are separated from their intended context it is easy to lose sight of how important it is to use them accurately and precisely. This course teaches medical terminology in the context of the medical setting. Students learn the medical terminology used in all medical specialties and body systems through the context of anatomy and physiology, pathology, and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and tests. Web-based learning platforms provide students with the necessary tools to learn the vast number of medical terms through interactive tools and games and engage them on a continuous learning and testing process throughout the semester.
