Emergency Medicine (MD1063) 2 ECTS

The aim of the course is to prepare medical students to recognize emergencies, to discuss and to coordinate therapeutic attempts starting from the time of illness or injury and on, and completed with the transfer and treatment in the hospital. Emergency Medicine is the Department who deals with treating life-threatening situations in a limited time and with existing medical resources and the safe transportation of patients to the hospital. Injuries and trauma after road accidents requires urgent medical treatment and excellent transportation conditions.
