Our AUSoM researchers lead the way in cancer prevention
The AUSoM Medical Physics and Digital Innovation Lab researchers, Associates Sophia Reppou and Despoina Petsani participated in the 2nd Plenary Meeting for the SUNRISE project at the Hellenic Mediterranean University in Heraklion, Crete.
SUNRISE aims to prevent cancer by promoting healthy habits in adolescents, using innovative digital tools and approaches such as social media campaigns and educational games.
With schools as living labs, this project is set to create an impact across Europe, reaching out to 154 schools in 8 countries.
