What is a disease (causes and mechanisms), defence against disease (the role of epidemiology in disease, the body response to infection, the acute inflammatory response, chronic and gramulomatous inflammation, healing and repair, the immune defence against infection), circulatory disorders (features of circulatory disorders, vascular occlusion and thrombosis, atherosclerosis and hypertension, circulatory failure), cell growth and its disorders (benign grown disorders, malignant neoplasms, what causes cancer, molecular genetics of cancer, the behavior of tumors, the clinical effects of tumors).
