DESCRIPTION

Throughout his/her studies in pediatrics, each student should acquire and use knowledge regarding mechanisms and disorders of growth and development, variations of the range of normal values of laboratory findings in pediatrics and clinical manifestations of a disease.
Medical history taking from the patient / guardian conducting physical examination (infant – toddler- school-aged child – adolescent), create a written data file including medical history and findings on physical examination (medical record), ability to create an oral presentation of the main points of a patient’s medical history in chronological order and a summary of findings on physical examination. Recognition of medical problems during medical history taking and physical examination recognition of diseases presenting with common symptoms (eg, fever, vomiting, irritability or fever and refusal to walk or pallor and petechiae etc). Recognition and evaluation of acute and urgent pediatric problems. Prescription of medications adapted to pediatric patients.
