Main research activities

1. Research fellow from 2003 – 2007 at Center for Vascular Surgery, Hospital Porz am Rhein,

Academic Teaching Hospital of the University of Cologne, Cologne – Germany (Director: Professor

Svante Horsch).

2. Research fellow from 2008 – 2019 at Center for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery,

Muenster University Hospital and St Franziskus Hospital, Muenster – Germany (Director: Professor

Giovanni Torsello).

3. Research topics include a broad spectrum of clinical applications in vascular and

endovascular surgery as well in basic science of vascular diseases. Particular interest in clinical

investigation at the fields of arterial occlusive disease and aneurysmatic disease, with special focus

in aortic endovascular surgery and chimney technique.

(VeithSymposium 2019), with topic: “A Propensity Matched Comparison Of Paclitaxel Coated DCBs
